She may have been missing Lost co-star and real-life love Dominic Monaghan, but you wouldn't have known it from Evangeline Lilly's glowing appearance at a party for the hit series on Tuesday. On a moonlit night at Hawaii's swanky Turtle Bay Resort, the Canadian screen lovely dazzled in a superstylish teal animal print gown as she trod the red carpet.
Dominic, who plays the show's washed-up rocker Charlie, is due to jet in next week to film his scenes for the third series. But there were plenty of other castaways on hand to keep the brunette beauty company at the glamorous evening affair to launch the DVD for season two.
Holding court amid tables decorated with the mysterious numbers which are a recurring feature of the show, and statues of the Virgin Mary - another key motif - were Southern charmer Josh Holloway and Daniel Dae Kim.
Nor was the party spirit dampened by news that the hit series had missed out on nominations for this year's Emmys - in 2005 Lost scooped the best drama series title at the coveted awards. Evangeline - who'll be a presenter when the gongs are handed out in LA later this month - was taking it all in her stride, saying: "My first reaction to it was: 'Good. I don't want us to become that show that becomes so righteous, so above everything else, that we're untouchable,'."
