Sunday couldn't have been more perfect for funnyman Mike Myers. Not only was the former Saturday Night Live star catching some rays as he took a stroll with a mystery gal pal in New York City's trendy Soho district, but the baseball fan's favourite team - the Chicago Cubs - beat their rivals, the Cincinnati Reds 11-3 this weekend.
Mike has been enjoying brighter days recently since splitting from his wife of 12 years, Robin Ruzan, in December 2005. Aside from spending time with his new lady friend, the Austin Powers star is currently completing work on Shrek The Third, in which he once again plays the lovable ogre.
The third installment of the animated movies series features regulars Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz as well as Cameron's love Justin Timberlake and Amy Poehler of Mean Girls fame.
Though the Scarborough-born actor - who has a street named after him in his hometown - is primarily known for his comic genius, he will be trying his hand at drama in the movie See Me Feel Me: Keith Moon Naked for Your Pleasure. In the flick, Mike plays the famous drummer credited for turning The Who into one of the hottest bands of the Seventies. But his love for laughter clearly isn't dissipating, as the Ontario native currently has three more comedies in the works.
