Robbie's back. With these words, former Take That star Robbie Williams announced the news this week that he will be releasing both a new single and a comeback album later this year.

Sure to delight his many fans, Reality Killed The Video Star – the 35-year-old's first album in three years - will hit the shelves on November 9. This follows the unveiling of his first track from the record, Bodies, on October 12. And as he prepares to take on the charts again, Robbie has a handsome and healthy new look that will no doubt have his female supporters swooning.

A behind-the-scenes video on the Stoke-on-Trent-born star's website shows him looking trim, clean-shaven, and back to his heart-throb best as he poses for pictures and messes around backstage at the filming for his pop video. But sadly for admiring ladies, the short clip also shows the Angels singer looking very much in love with his girlfriend of two years, actress Ayda Field.

Robbie's fantastic new image has not come without a lot of hard work. Writing on his website, the cheeky singer confided: "I've been a food ninja for over two months…Food ninjary consists of not eating anything that you like to eat. "No cake, No crisps, No chocolate…Surprisingly easier than I thought it would be…Well, easy when you've got a record coming out and you don’t want to look like the Michelin Man."

The solo chart-topper has promised that Reality Killed The Video Star will be a "killer" album, which he describes as a mixture of "old Robbie, new Robbie, and a Robbie that neither of us has met".
