It was a must-watch interview for every Twilight fan. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning and Taylor Lautner sat down with the queen of US TV, Oprah Winfrey, for a chat about life since the release of the first hit film, those romance rumours and even Rob's rapper dream. The quartet appeared together in an episode aired on Thursday during which the English pin-up – who celebrated his 24th birthday that same day - told his host that, as a teenager, he wanted to be a rap star.Speaking about how he has perfected his American accent, Robert explained that he grew up watching films from the US, and also that his desire to be a rapper when he was 14 meant he had lots of practice."I have plenty of recordings," confessed the star, who also said that his rumoured girlfriend Kristen thinks he has the "most terrible American accent in the world."
Of course, Oprah asked the cast about their love lives, with Taylor revealing that the qualities he looks for in his ideal woman are "obviously, loyalty, and honesty.""Really important to me is someone who can totally let loose and pretty much be themselves and have fun."And, according to his co-stars, there is one other thing the 18-year-old - who recently dated country starlet Taylor Swift - looks for in a dream date. "She must like beef patties," Rob joked, referring to Taylor's fitness regime to play Jacob Black. "Yes, she must be able to make delicious beef patties," agreed Kristen.Of course, the rumoured lovers weren't going to get away without discussion of their reported relationship. But, asked by Oprah, whether or not they were dating, the pair made light of the situation.
"Kristen's pregnant," laughed Robert, with Kristen adding: "He really loves to shock people because he thinks it's funny. No, we've actually had this conversation. He's having the baby."The 20-year-old brunette did confess to one great love in her life."I'm obsessed with my cat," she said. "We have a very Edward-and-Bella relationship. It's very co-dependent with my cat."And while you might expect the world famous youngsters to spend their weekends at parties and high-profile events, it seems the opposite is true.Speaking about their Saturday nights, Robert revealed he is likely to be "desperately calling up everyone in my phone book, seeing if anyone I had ever met was doing something, because no-one would have called me."As for Taylor – "Sunday I'll be watchingCelebrity Apprentice
. Saturday's a little difficult for me…I'm bored on Saturdays…Most likely I'm just spending time at home. I'm seeing if anybody wants to hang out with me too."
