Mariah Carey has tweeted from a New York hospital bed after falling and seriously injuring her shoulder on a videoshoot.
The 43-year-old pop diva was filming a remix for her new video #Beautiful this weekend when she fell awkwardly.
"Dislocated my shoulder on the remix video with Jeezy, sporting a very fashionable sling for the next couple of weeks!" she tweeted.
Later in the day, Mariah shared a black and white photo from her hospital bed with her fans.

The shot shows the Grammy award winning singer sitting upright with a lazy smile and wearing a sling. A hand can be seen on her shoulder - presumably that of her husband, Nick Cannon.
Mariah's spokeswoman confirmed the American sweetheart had fallen.
"Mariah was injured while filming a video for the remix of #Beautiful, directed by her husband Nick Cannon," she told the New York Post.
"She was taken to hospital late last night, where doctors reset her shoulder. She is fine and is recovering at home."
It is suggested that Mariah's shoes were the cause of her fall.
"She was in this nice, beautiful gown, heels on and everything, and was kind of on this platform and reached and slipped and fell on her whole side," Nick told US Weekly.
"It was pretty serious. Not only did she dislocate her shoulder, she actually cracked a rib and...she chipped her shoulder bone."
Despite the gravity of the fall, the star reportedly finished filming her video early the next morning.
"After they put [her] shoulder back in place, bandaged her all up, she came back to the video early in the morning and finished out everything," Nick told the Today show on Tuesday.
Mariah is set to perform with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra on Central Park's Great Lawn on Saturday.

Sources confirm that Mariah will still perform, although "it is likely she will have her arm in a sling."
