Kendall Jenner takes after half-sister Kim Kardashian and debuts new hairstyle

Kendall Jenner, half-sister of Kim Kardashian, has debuted a new look by chopping off her long dark locks.The 17-year-old model took to Instagram to show off her brand new haircut, much to the delight of her fans.In the snapshot, Kendall is pictured posing in dark-rimmed glasses and flaunting her light brown hair that falls just above her shoulder — a good few inches shorter than her previous hairstyle.

Just earlier this month, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star experimented with a lighter shade than her usual deep espresso colour, and tried out a soft brown and blonde ombre effect. Kendall has clearly taken a liking to the colour, but was keen for a change in length.The television personality may have been inspired to change her look for the new season, and isn't the only one in the family to do so. Kim was pictured sporting new honey blonde locks at the start of September. "It's something Kim's wanted to do for a long time," her colorist George Papanikolas said. "I've been coloring her hair for a year, and she's wanted to go blonder since the day we met."

And he has confirmed that the new mother's partner Kanye West is a big fan. "He loves it! He was a big cheerleader for her to go blond".
