Khloé Kardashian hinted that she was ready to call time on her four-year marriage to estranged husband Lamar Odom, following reports that the basketball player moved out of their family home last week.

Khloé, who has tried to keep her private life out of the media, opened up to her brother Rob about her marriage difficulties on the season finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

"A lot has been going on for the past couple of years just with me and Lamar," said the reality TV star. "I have made that choice myself to keep that within my marriage, but lately it has been getting bigger than me.

"It is scary, there is a lot going on, there are paparazzi, like hundreds of them that wait outside my gates. It is not easy. Sometimes things are bigger than yourself and I don't have a plan, I don't know what the next step is."

Rob gave his advice, suggesting that Khloé leave it to her estranged husband to "figure it out".

"But if someone, God forbid, gets their legs cut off or gets breast cancer, do you just leave because they are slowing down your life?" asked Khloé.

"Lamar is my husband, I fell in love with him instantly and got married to him in 30 days... Obviously, I would like to help him and let him live his life but I don't know what else to do.

"I am at war with myself, I want to help him but maybe sometimes the best help is stepping away. And I just feel like I might need some more help so I have to kinda tell my family."

Earlier in the episode, a visibly exasperated Khloé admitted that she had always defended Lamar and had to cover up for him on several occasions.

The brunette beauty is filmed receiving a string of calls from Lamar's agent Jeff Schwartz, asking where the basketball star was, with Khloé replying that he had gone out for a drive and would be back in contact soon.

"As many times as I have like, protected Lamar or dodged a bullet for him, lately everything is getting more than what I can protect or control," said Khloé. "I am getting bombarded with questions and I don't know what to say."

Just last week the television personality denied rumours that she and Lamar were putting their $4 million Los Angeles family home up for sale. On Wednesday, however, the former LA Lakers player was reportedly seen moving out and unloading a car full of his possessions outside a friend's home.

Khloé and Lamar's marriage is said to have been under strain since the summer, when reports emerged that Lamar had been having an on-off affair with a stripper and relapsed into drug-taking without telling Khloé.

The Kardashian and Jenner clan came out in full support of Khloé and united for their charity yard sale on Sunday. Khloé's father, Bruce Jenner, who has recently split from her mother Kris, joined in the family fun and was pictured giving his daughter a big hug.

The reality TV star appeared to be having a big clear out, as she was pictured carrying bags out of her car.

Khloé's younger sister Kim took to Twitter to post a photo of the family's items, writing, "We are having a yard sale today for charity!"
