Madonna has responded to criticism she faced after posting a picture to Instagram of her 13-year-old son Rocco holding a bottle of gin.After being told by fans the photo was "irresponsible", the queen of pop posted another image with the caption: "No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humor! Don't start the year off with judgement!"
The original snap showed Rocco – the singer's son with Guy Ritchie – and some friends holding bottles of spirits.
She had captioned it: "The party has just begun! Bring it! 2014"Madonna has been sharing pictures from her New Year family skiing break. The singer saw in 2014 at a ski resort in Switzerland with Rocco and her other children; Lourdes, from her relationship with Carlos Leon – and David and Mercy, who she adopted from Malawi.
Among the family snaps were one of Mercy and David ready to hit the slopes. Another showed Lourdes in her snowboarding gear, with the caption: "Snow Bunny is DONE!"
