Kylie Minogue has opened up about her dreams of motherhood, revealing that she would consider adoption. The 45-year-old pop star, who split from her ex-boyfriend Andrés Velencoso last October, hinted that her recent break-up may have delayed her ability to start a family. "Life took a different turn," Kylie told The Sun.

"Part of my new beginning this year is to accept having a baby of my own might not be for me, which carries sadness." "I'd consider adoption," she added.

Kylie and the Spanish model were together for five years when they reportedly parted ways due to work commitments. "The Andres break up was amicable but hard," she explained. "It would be lovely to find a person you're soul mates with forever."

The blonde beauty, who has been working as a judge on The Voice UK alongside will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson, also touched on her own body hang-ups. "In your 40s things tend to go south," said Kylie. "I don't think I can live up to expectations. "I see myself in the mirror every morning and it's not the same as what everyone else sees. It's a less polished version."

Despite Kylie's admission, the Spinning Around singer still looked incredible when she attended this year's BRITS Awards ceremony on Wednesday, with her younger sister Dannii in tow. The radiant duo were in high spirits as they posed for the cameras, with open mouth smiles and each with an arm wrapped around the other's waist. Kylie wore a show-stopping rubber William Wilde dress decorated with a large black and white bow, and matched the eye-catching outfit with a pair of stiletto heels with transparent toes.Dannii, who was previously a judge on The X Factor UK, admitted on the red carpet that she would not be returning to the show this year, before adding "but never say never."

She went on to praise her big sister, saying, "I'm just in the spectator seat. I'm just at home watching my sister on The Voice ripping it up. "It's nice to arrive seeing so many great comments. I'm Kylie to win, team Kylie!"
