The 40-year-old soul singer, who is currently performing in The Bodyguard, said that Victoria visited her dressing room before a performance and told her how much she admired her work in the West End musical.
"I know her because I have been to her house and sung at one of her parties," Beverley told The Metro. "I found out both Victoria and David were fans of my music.
"I hadn’t realised she still kind of enjoyed what I do musically and wanted to come and see the show," she added. "I was well chuffed.
"She [Victoria] loved it. She just kept saying, 'I don’t know how in the hell you are singing those songs night after night. Nobody is singing those songs like that, how the hell are you doing it?' I told her, “I just love it. Do it. I don’t know.”’
In December 2013, Beverley tweeted a picture of herself and Victoria in her dressing room.
"Also visiting @TheBodyguardUK was a lovely lady I haven't seen in ages! @VictoriaBeckham thanks luv! Xxxx," Beverley captioned the photo.
In the picture, stylish Victoria sports a wide-brimmed hat, a black coat and a white top, while Beverley is dressed in a sleek black dress, complete with a chic black and white scarf.
On Wednesday, straight from her Bodyguard performance at the Adelphi Theatre, Beverley took to the stage to sing at the LLGS 40th celebrations.
In the star-studded crowd cheering on Beverley were Myleene Klass, Pixie Lott, Duncan James, Kingsland Rd and The Jump contestant Henry Conway.
