Throughout the week she kept her fans updated on her progress and those who helped her along the way.

Davina hit the headlines when she was pulled out of Lake Windermere after collapsing, before undergoing a series of medical tests amid fears that she was suffering from hypothermia.

Davina recovered though to cross the finish line outside London's Tate Modern at 4.10pm on 14 March, where she was greeted by her husband Matthew Robertson and their three children Holly, Chester and Tilly.

"I can't believe it was me," said Davina, as the details of her epic physical challenge were read out to the waiting crowd. "Thank you to everybody who has donated - that is why I did it - the team that got me here, they carried me through the threshold.

"My kids and my husband were amazing," she added. "I have got to stop crying!"

By 10pm on the 21 March, Sports Relief had raised over £30,000,000 for charity through celebrity challenges and donations from the public.

The biannual event from Comic Relief brings together the worlds of sport and entertainment to raise money which goes toward helping vulnerable people in both the UK and across the world.

At the heart of the campaign is the "Sport Relief Mile", which involves members of the public doing their bit for charity.
