Pippa Middleton tells HELLO! about the incredible journey she undertook for charity and speaks of sisterly bond with Kate

The Middletons are a sporty family – and none more so than Pippa Middeton and her brother James. The pair recently returned from the Race Across America, a grueling 3,000-mile charity cycle relay – and Pippa has spoken to HELLO! about the "incredible experience".

The new edition of HELLO! magazine, issue 1335, contains an interview and exclusive pictures of the elegant sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, neé Kate Middleton.

Pippa tells HELLO! about her "incredible experience" in the Race For Life in the current issue

Pippa speaks in detail about the charity race, which she completed to raise funds for the Michael Matthews Foundation and the British Heart Foundation, of which she is an ambassador.

"It was an incredible experience and one of the toughest things I've ever done, physically and mentally," she told the magazine on her return to England after crossing the finishing line in Anapolis, Maryland. "The mixture of relief, exhilaration and exhaustion at the end was something else."

The report also contains details of what was said during the 30-year-old's first ever TV interview, which was conducted by Matt Lauer of America's The Today Show.

As well as talking about her achievement in the Race For Life she also spoke of her strong family ties and her bond with Kate and the "very normal, sisterly relationship" they share.

The daughter of self-made couple Carole and Michael Middleton, Pippa has inherited her parents' work ethic. She still works part time for her parents' online business Party Pieces and has edited Party Times the magazine which promotes the company.

In addition, she is the author of Celebrate – a party planning book in which she shares memories of her idyllic childhood.
