Professor Green celebrates turning 31

Happy birthday, Professor Green! As the British rapper celebrates turning 31, HELLO! Online takes a look at what the stars have in store for Pro Green, and you...This is what Professor Green, who is a Sagittarius, can be expecting today...  When people are reluctant to discuss 'an elephant in the room', we must wonder why. Might it simply be because if it were acknowledged, it would lead to questions like, how did that elephant get into the room in the first place? How did it pass through the door? And if it came in long ago, as a tiny baby elephant, and has been growing ever since, how can anyone ever hope to get it back out again? Or perhaps the room has a very large pair of French windows. The solution to a problem may not be as obtuse as you fear.

Stephen Paul Manderson, better known by his stage name Professor Green, was born 27 November 1983

Professor Green, born Stephen Paul Manderson, grew up in Hackney, London where he raised primarily by his grandmother. The Just Be Good To Green rapper claims he "fell into rapping accidentally" after freestyling during a party at a friend's house and then began regularly attending freestyle night LyricPad every week, where he was later scouted. The 31-year-old rose to fame upon winning the inaugural JumpOff MySpace £50,000 battle rap tournament in July 2008 and then worked with singer Lily Allen, joining her on her 2009 concert tour. In 2010, his debut album reached number two in the UK album chart and since then his successes have included a BT Digital Music Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award, a Best Hip Hop/Grime Act Mobo award and an NME Best Dancefloor Filler award for his hit single Jungle.
