Jordin Sparks rose to fame in 2007 when she became the youngest winner of American Idol ever, at the age of 17. She grew up in New Jersey and then later Phoenix, Arizona, where she was home-schooled so she could concentrate on her music.

Her debut album was certified platinum and spawned two top ten singles - Tattoo and No Air. The latter was a collaboration with singer Chris Brown, and went on to garner Jordin her first Grammy nomination, for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.The hit song also earned Jordin a NAACP Image Award, a BET Award, an American Music Award, a People's Choice Award and two Teen Choice Awards.Jordin's sophomore album also went top ten, and Jordin is the only American Idol winner to ever have her first five singles debut in the top 20 in America.

The stunning star has also won over Broadway, taking on the role of Nina in the critically acclaimed In The Heights, and starring in various TV movies.A passionate philanthropist, 25-year-old Jordin has worked for the Malaria No More campaign, travelling to Malaria as part of a US government delegation. She also works closely with charities that focus on music and young people, including Little Kids Rock, which aims to bring music education back into public schools across America.
