Melanie Griffith surrounded herself with friends as she celebrated her first Christmas since splitting with her husband Antonio Banderas this summer. The 57-year-old headed to Aspen, Colorado where she was joined by some of her close friends and family including youngest daughter Stella Banderas.
The actress took to Instagram to share photos of her Christmas holidays including a picture of herself with two of her best friends.
"MG Olwen and Verley… Friends for 25 years", she wrote.

Melanie was also spotted chatting with Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell and another friend as they all spent their Christmas break in snowy Aspen.
The Working Girl star is clearly enjoying her getaway as she has shared a number of pictures from the trip with her 40,800 followers including one from an outdoor hot tub which she captioned: "Loving it here in Aspen… #hot tub #peaceful".

Melanie filed for divorce from husband Antonio Banderas in June after 18 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
The mother-of-three has since said that she is happy and focused on enjoying herself after the split, telling IndieWire: "It's not about my career now. It's just about finding great work and having a good time. My kids are almost grown. I'm getting divorced.
"I'm just happy. I'm really joyful. Life is good."
