America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon has denied reports that he's planning to write an album about his split with wife Mariah Carey. The 34-year-old took to Twitter to slam the rumours, telling fans that he and Mariah are "forever a family rooted in love".
Replying to a tweet from Vibe magazine which claimed he was going to "be taking a leaf out of Robin Thicke's book", Nick wrote: "Vibe, I rock with yall too tough to allow you to report false silliness. There is no album or songs!
"I will never say anything negative about @MariahCarey. We are forever a family rooted in love."

The father-of-two went on to ask people to respect his family and say that he has no problem being perceived as the bad guy following the split from his wife.
Mariah appeared unfazed by the rumours as she enjoyed a snowy break in Aspen with her twins Moroccan and Monroe over the Christmas holiday. The singer was snapped on the slopes with her children as she made her annual visit to the resort - and her first without Nick in six years.
Mariah reportedly started divorce proceedings against her husband of six years in September, following months of split rumours.

A source confirmed that the singer was taking the lead in ending their relationship, telling E! News: "Mariah has started the divorce process. She's getting all her ducks in a row."
The pair were reportedly working on a joint statement announcing the split when Nick allegedly let slip that he and Mariah, 44, had been living in separate homes for months while their £6 million New York home underwent renovation.
Mariah and Nick married in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas after six weeks of dating. They later welcomed their three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe in 2011.
