Perrie Edwards has been photographed for the first time since Zayn Malik's shock exit from One Direction. Perrie – who has been engaged to the boy band star since August 2013 – was seen leaving her home alone on Thursday, less than 24 hours after Zayn announced his decision to leave 1D.
Wearing sunglasses and with her head in her hands, Little Mix singer Perrie was seen looking solemn as she left the house she shares with Zayn.

Zayn shocked fans when he confirmed he was quitting the band after five years. Some devastated 'Directioners' have turned their wrath on Perrie, calling her the "Yoko Ono of 1D".
Zayn's departure hasn't only hit fans hard. Harry Styles proved what a shock the news of his sudden departure had been on Wednesday when he broke down in tears on stage in Jakarta.
One Direction performed in the Indonesian capital just a few hours after their bandmate's decision to leave was announced around the world.
Harry was also the first band member to tweet following Zayn's exit, writing simply to his 24.1million fans: "All the love as always – H."

A few hours later, Liam Payne also posted a message, which read: "So glad to be in bed after a long and strange 24 hours."
Louis Tomlinson added, "Been a crazy couple of days but know that we are going to work harder than ever to deliver the best album we've ever made for you guys! Your support has been incredible, truly incredible, so thank you so much!"
Simon Cowell, who formed the band on the X Factor in 2010, reassured fans that the new four-piece still had a bright future. "Sometimes strength is not defined by numbers," he wrote. "As always you the fans have shown your amazing support to all the boys. When you have great talent great things can happen."
