Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards show their love in new holiday snaps

Zayn Malik is keen to show the world that his relationship with Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards is as strong as ever after facing intense scrutiny in recent weeks. The former One Direction star shared a sweet snap of himself kissing his fiancé on Thursday taken while they enjoy an Easter getaway with his family.

"Oui", the 22-year-old captioned the photo, which Perrie also posted to her own social media accounts.

Another image originally shared by Zayn's sister Waliyha showed the couple joking around together, with Perrie poking her tongue out while she wraps her arm around the Bradford-born singer.

The pair were pictured boarding a private airplane earlier this week along with Zayn's mum Trisha, his sisters and his cousins. It isn't known where they have jetted away to, but it is believed they were looking to spend some time alone together away from the glare of the spotlight after a challenging couple of weeks.

Perrie, 21, and Zayn, 22, have been under a great deal of strain ever since the boyband singer announced he was leaving One Direction. The couple, who got engaged in August 2013, have been rocked by persistent claims of his infidelity – but are going out of their way to show they are still as loved-up as ever.

On the same day that Zayn announced he was leaving his band in a bid to be "a normal 22-year-old", they were spotted house-hunting in Hertfordshire, and on Monday, Perrie was pictured on a girly shopping trip with Zayn's mum and sisters.

The couple are also said to be bringing their wedding plans forward – and could possibly tie the knot this spring.

Zayn made it clear he is looking forward to a life out of the spotlight after leaving the band and has stayed silent on Twitter for over two weeks, despite being the subject of a social media row when music producer Naughty Boy tweeted – and soon deleted – a demo of a solo track they had recorded together.
