David and Victoria Beckham are making the most of their quick break in Los Angeles – the city they used to call home when the retired athlete played for LA Galaxy. It came as no surprise then that the couple arranged to catch up with some of the good friends they had left behind, including Victoria's close pal Eva Longoria.

On Thursday evening, the Beckhams were spotted enjoying a double date with Eva and her boyfriend Jose Antonio Baston.

The group of four had chosen the luxurious restaurant of Giorgio Baldi, an Italian restaurant near the ocean in Santa Monica, for their dinner.

David and Victoria were pictured making a low-key entrance, pulling up in their car and trying not to cause too much of a fuss. The fashion designer, who was snapped looking down at the dashboard, donned her favourite colour black in the form of a slinky top and a midi-length skirt.

Her good friend Eva also scored high in the style stakes, lighting up the night in a bright pink fuchsia dress that accentuated her curves. The Latina beauty, who celebrated her 40th birthday last month, couldn't stop smiling as she walked into the restaurant, hand-in-hand with her beau Jose Antonio.

David and Victoria, who still have a house in Los Angeles, are back Stateside for the Easter holidays, while their four children are off school. The couple have always said that their native England is their home, but the Beckhams are no stranger to the sunny city and the A-lister lifestyle.

Just last week, David and Victoria's eldest son Brooklyn chaperoned his two younger brothers Romeo and Cruz to the annual Kids' Choice Awards hosted by Nickelodeon. The Beckham boys cause as much of a stir in the US as they do back home, and proved a hit on the red carpet.

"Great time with my bros," 16-year-old Brooklyn captioned an Instagram photo of the trio after the ceremony.
