David Beckham touched down in LA on Monday with his dad Ted by his side. Father and son were seen heading out of the airport after catching a flight from London together, both casually dressed after the long journey.
David – who wife Victoria Beckham recently described as a "silver fox" – covered his hair with a black beanie and wore dark sunglasses as he exited the arrivals terminal. He was wearing a denim shirt over a black T-shirt, black trousers and brown boots.

The pair's appearance in LA comes just a few days before David celebrates his 40th birthday with an extravagant party in Marrakech, Morocco.
The former footballer will be joined by a group of friends and family – likely to include Ted and his mum Sandra, who divorced in 2002 after 32 years of marriage – for a lavish celebration on Saturday at the Amanjena resort, just outside the Moroccan city.
According to reports, guests will include Tom Cruise, Gordon Ramsay, Guy Ritchie, Liv Tyler and her partner Dave Gardner – who is David's best friend. The birthday boy is apparently flying all invitees out to the north African city himself, so they can join him for the landmark party.
The five-star resort is thought to hold special meaning for David; it’s believed to be the location where he and Victoria renewed their wedding vows during a romantic break in 2004.
"He'll only turn 40 once so he wants to do it in style," a source told the Sun. "Morocco is a place close to his heart."
The Beckhams at the London Marathon
While David and his dad are in LA, Victoria has remained in London with the couple's four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
On Sunday, David, Victoria, Brooklyn and Cruz turned out to cheer on 12-year-old Romeo as he took part in the London Marathon three-mile mini-marathon.
They all wore T-shirts emblazoned with 'Team Romeo', and Victoria later shared a photo of her middle son with his medal around his neck. "Well done Romeo!! We r all so proud!! Running @londonmarathon for UNAIDS and 7 Fund," she captioned the picture.
