Brooklyn Beckham showed he is becoming almost as popular as his dad David Beckham by rapidly gaining thousands of followers on his new Twitter account. The 16-year-old amassed over 20,000 fans within just a couple of hours despite not posting a single tweet so far.
Brooklyn is fast becoming a social media sensation and hit a landmark two million followers on Instagram on his dad's 40th birthday. The teen marked the occasion by posting a family photo with his younger brothers Romeo and Cruz smiling in front of a Happy Birthday banner.
"Reached 1 mil on my mums birthday and 2 mil on my dads. Thank u guys so much #DB40".
The popular teen is quickly approaching three million followers as fans try to get a glimpse into his enviable lifestyle. Brooklyn's photos often feature him along with his family and famous friends, as was the case when he gave a look behind the scenes at his dad's 40th birthday celebrations in Marrakech.
As well as sending birthday wishes to his dad, Brooklyn also shared photos with celebrities including Eva Longoria and David Blaine.
However the teen has some competition from his dad, who celebrated his milestone birthday by setting up a personal Instagram account and sharing a black and white topless shot with fans. In less than seven days the former England player has already clocked up over 5.4 million fans.
David marked his special day in style by jetting off to Marrakech with a group of his close friends and family, who all documented the trip on social media using the hashtag #DB40.
The 40-year-old used his Instagram account to thank his wife Victoria for an "amazing" party, by posting a photo of them cosying up together by a swimming pool at their luxury resort.
He wrote: "Thanks to my beautiful wife for such an amazing day x".
