Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and her husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini have arrived in sunny Cannes the place where they first met 12 months ago. The couple arrived in France for the annual film festival on Thursday, and looked as loved-up as ever as they marked a year together.

Cheryl, 31, and Jean-Bernard were pictured hand-in-hand as they walked out of Nice airport, with the X Factor star sporting a new blonde bob. She showed off her petite figure in a yellow and white dress, teamed with black over-the-knee boots and large statement vintage sunglasses.

Her French husband, dressed in jeans and a jacket, was photographed whispering sweetly in Cheryl's ear, as she beamed for the cameras.

Cheryl and Jean-Bernard were introduced at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, and it was love at first sight. Just three months later, after a whirlwind romance, Cheryl made the big announcement that the couple had married, telling fans, "We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together."

Cheryl and Jean-Bernard aren't the only smitten couple in Cannes for the 2015 festival. On Thursday evening, Charlize Theron and Sean Penn could barely keep their hands off each other as they walked the red carpet at the premiere of Mad Max: Fury Road.

The stars posed for pictures together, and even when Charlize was asked for photographs on her own, Sean was never far away, with the pair quickly returning to each other.

Natalie Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied, meanwhile, caused a stir when they arrived for the opening night of the festival on Wednesday. The couple, who enjoy a low-key life together in Paris, cuddling up as they stepped back into the spotlight, their arms wrapped around each other as they posed together outside the Grand Theatre Lumiere.
