Danielle Lloyd talks to HELLO! about the devastating end of her marriage

Danielle Lloyd has revealed she was so devastated by the end of her marriage to love cheat footballer Jamie O'Hara that she was prescribed medication by her doctor.

In an exclusive interview with HELLO! magazine, Danielle – who has three young sons with Jamie - reveals: "I went to see the doctor and he put me on anti-depressants and quite strong sleeping pills. I had to be strong for the sake of my boys. Everything I do now is for the boys. They're the only things that have been keeping me going over the past year."

Danielle Lloyd: "Everything I do now is for the boys"

The former Miss Great Britain discovered that Jamie had been unfaithful when a newspaper uncovered the story. She fled to Dubai to come to terms with his confession that he had cheated more than once – and while there she decided the relationship had to end.

"While I was away, another story came out about another girl in LA and then Jamie was being photographed coming out of nightclubs, smashed. I couldn't understand why he was doing it. It was like he was someone I didn't know any more. His behaviour was erratic. I told him to be gone by the time I got back from Dubai."

Danielle also reveals how Jamie confessed to being unfaithful on other occasions – a discovery that strengthened her resolve to end the marriage. "[There were] quite a few. Enough for me to know that I couldn't go back. It's just embarrassing and degrading, not just to me but to the kids as well. I know Jamie does love his family but I know there is no going back. I've forgiven him but I can't forget what he did."

However, things are now looking up for Danielle, who recently started seeing a new man, Tom Jimson, who lives in Dubai.

"I've been out there a couple of times to see him and he's coming here to see me," she reveals. "It's a long-distance relationship and I'm just going with the flow because I have a massive guard up with anyone I meet now. But we get on really well and he's like a friend too. It's very easy. We'll see what happens."
