Spice Girls fans were left feeling somewhat miffed when the girl group didn't all reunite at Geri Halliwell's wedding last month. Although Emma Bunton stepped out to see her long-time friend tie the knot with Christian Horner, Victoria Beckham, Mel B and Mel C were all otherwise engaged on the special day.While Victoria explained that she was in Singapore promoting her fashion line, Mel B has now revealed the reason why she and Mel C couldn't attend.

"Unfortunately I couldn't be there at the wedding and neither could Victoria or Mel C because we all had prior commitments," the former X Factor judge told toofab.com. "Even though they've been together quite a while, it was like, 'Oh I'm getting married in a few weeks', I was like 'No change the date!'."Mel went on to say that she's looking forward to hearing all the news from Geri's special day while she's in the UK."She looked gorgeous on her wedding day," she said, "And I'll get to hear all the gossip when I fly over there in a few hours."

Despite not being able to make the wedding, which took place at St Mary's Church in Bedfordshire, Mel sent her good wishes to the happy couple on Twitter,"@gerihalliwell wishing you the most beautiful special day of your life, I love you xxxx, " she tweeted.

Victoria meanwhile shared an old picture of the pair in their Spice Girls day, writing: "My beautiful friend @gerihalliwellofficial Sending u love and happiness. I'm so sad I couldn't be with you on your special day x I love u x ?❤️."
