Ben Affleck denies he is dating his children's nanny

Ben Affleck has spoken out to deny reports that he is dating his children's nanny. The father-of-three, who recently split from his wife of ten years Jennifer Garner, has been romantically linked to 28-year-old Christine Ouzounian, but a spokesman for the star shut down the claims, telling the New York Post's Page Six: "The story is garbage and full of lies.

"You shouldn't be able to hide behind 'blind stories' and attempt to destroy families going through a difficult time. The tabloid decided to construct stories in order to sell magazine. It's like story time in kindergarten. It's shameful and desperate."

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their end of their ten-year marriage in June

Us Weekly had claimed that Ben, 42, and his estranged wife had hired Christine to look after their children – Violet, nine, Seraphina, six, and three-year-old Samuel – while they were going through a trial separation. A friend of Christine's told the magazine: "They would hang out without the kids. And they were very flirty." The source went on to say that the nanny is claiming "it's true love".

Ben and Jennifer announced their split last month in a joint statement, writing: "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy who ask to be respected during this difficult time."

Since then both have been pictured on a number of occasions with their wedding rings still on – reportedly for the sake of their children.

Despite their split, the couple are not rushing to file for divorce. A source told People: "Jennifer's finishing a film so there hasn't been like 'Ok, let's get this done now', because they always were like, 'This is happening and still moving forward.' I don't think they are talking about it.

"They are concentrating on being a family right now."
