Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have had a busy couple of weeks exploring Los Angeles, New York and the Hamptons, but their travels haven't stopped there. The newlyweds jetted to Spain on Monday for the opening of Mark's cousin Elliott Wright's new restaurant.

Former Coronation Street star Michelle shared a picture from the restaurant in Malaga, telling fans: "At the launch of @oliviaslascala it's absolutely beautiful. Well done @elliottwright_ what a turn out. xx".

The image showed Michelle looking glamorous in a navy polka dot crop top and matching maxi skirt, with her arm around her husband who was dressed in a roll sleeve shirt and jeans.

Mark and Michelle flying visit to Spain comes just days after they returned from their holiday to the States. The couple took the opportunity to do some sightseeing and visit some of Mark's family, as well as attend some business meetings in Los Angeles.

The pair both shared a number of snaps from their getaway, including a picture from a romantic picnic in New York's Central Park on Wednesday, where they had a little reminder of home on a skyscraper named Essex House behind them.

Mark and Michelle have just returned from a holiday to America

"NYC Central Park picnic!! Look behind, always reppin the home county!!" Mark captioned the image.

Writing in her popular weekly blog for HELLO! Online, Michelle revealed that she and Mark decided to make the trip because they "happened to both have some time off and thought we should make the most of it".

It has been reported that the couple, who tied the knot in a romantic ceremony featured exclusively in HELLO! magazine in May, may be considering a more permanent move to America to fulfil their career ambitions.

Mark told The Sunday People: "England will always be our home but Michelle and I would love to spread our wings and work in LA."
