Band member James McVey revealed how the appearance came about during an appearance on Loose Women on Friday, explaining: "I was speaking to him online and then texting him a little bit, and then we knew we were both in LA at the same time and we thought it would be cool to get him involved really.

"I sent him a text and asked him if he'd be the lead role and he said yes."

The singer said he thought of Brooklyn as a friend and revealed that they had been hanging out while they were both in London.

The teen has been trying his hand at a number of different vocations recently, modelling for Miss Vogue magazine and impressing his 4.5 million Instagram followers with his photography skills – something he revealed he would like to pursue in the future in an interview.
