Will Smith's daughter Willow turned 15 on Saturday, and the proud dad marked the special day with an adorable message and throwback photograph that he posted on Facebook.

Along with the heartfelt message, the former Fresh Prince of Bel Air star also shared an adorable picture of himself carrying a young Willow. In the snap, Will lovingly gazes at his baby, who is wearing a cute pink dress with sequin detail as she holds onto her dad.

The daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith first caught the public's attention in 2010, after releasing her first single, Whip My Hair, which eventually went platinum.

The pretty teen made her acting debut in her dad's movie, I Am Legend, in 2007. She also recently landed herself a modelling contract with the agency that represents models including Kendall Jenner.

Tender Will doesn't just show his sweet side for his children – the star also showed just much he loves his wife Jada with a tender Facebook post celebrating her 44th birthday in September.

He posted a throwback picture of the couple at her mother's house 20 years ago, telling her: "Of the nearly 3.96 Billion women on the planet – there is only 1 that I want to spend the rest of my life with."
