Khloé Kardashian tells fans she is 'healing' from infection

Just a few days after revealing she had been diagnosed with a staph infection, Khloé Kardashian is on the mend. The reality star tweeted the good news to her fans on Tuesday night. "I'm so blessed I'm doing better and my infection is healing," she wrote. "I was able to be out and about today… Quarantine is over lol."

Khloé, 31, is believed to have contracted the infection while visiting her estranged husband Lamar Odom in hospital, where he is still recovering after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel last month. Her illness has prevented Khloé from being by Lamar's bedside.

Khloé Kardashian has told her fans that she is "healing" after her infection

A source recently told E! News, "Khloé is still sick with the staph infection and hasn't visited Lamar recently. She's doing a little bit better, but no one can say when she will be able to visit him considering she can't until she's 100% healed."

Last week, Khloé told her fans: "Staph infection is no joke. Mine was exacerbated by stress which is not a great combo. I'm under medical care and receiving tons of love!

"I appreciate all of your prayers, well wishes and love being sent my way. I'll be better very soon. I love you guys."

Khloé is said to be devastated that she is unable to visit Lamar Odom in hospital

A contributing factor to Khloé's stress is her concern for Lamar, who has been in hospital for the past five weeks. Sadly, the former sports star is far from recovered.

"Lamar has made some progress, but his cognitive impairments is making life very challenging," a source revealed to People, adding that the 36-year-old is unable to walk by himself, and struggles to communicate verbally.

The insider added: "Lamar won't leave hospital for a long time, and when he does, he will need full time care. He can't take care of himself.

"…Lamar has serious long-term and lasting issues. His life will never be the same as it once was."
