Just two months after becoming a first-time father, Louis Tomlinson is in his element. The 24-year-old’s grandfather Len has just returned from LA where he saw Louis looking after his son Freddie, and said the star is "learning very quickly on his feet".
Speaking to ITV Calendar, Len said: "He's learning very quickly to be a dad. I mean, Louis wants to be a great dad and he is a great dad and will be a better dad. But it's all a new learning curve for him.

New dad Louis Tomlinson is "learning very quickly on his feet"
"I see him changing Freddie and feeding Freddie, like we all do and all have done. But it's a new phenomenon for Louis and he's learning very quickly on his feet.
"I mean, the baby's very young, he's only two months old. So there are no real baby stories, apart from agaga, agoogoo."
Len said it helps that One Direction are on an extended break, meaning Louis has been able to focus on fatherhood. But living in LA, a town full of celebrities, he still attracts attention.
The star became a first-time father on 21 January
"Some people were walking the other way and I heard them say 'I think that was Louis out of One Direction'. And I was a bit behind them, and I said 'Yeah, you’re right!'"
Len also had some reassuring words for fans worried about One Direction's current hiatus. Insisting that Louis, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne will reunite, he quipped: "They will come back. Even if it’s only to make a lot more money."
Louis and ex Briana are said to have worked out a 'temporary custody settlement'
Louis has set up home in LA to be close to his son, and is currently dating US star Danielle Campbell. It is being reported that he is in the midst of a custody battle with Freddie's mother Briana Jungwirth, although the former couple are said to have reached a "temporary custody settlement" last month.
A major condition of the agreement, however, prevents Louis' girlfriend Danielle from having access to the baby boy. According to TMZ, Briana is concerned about another women interacting with little Freddie and interfering with the "critical bonding period" between mother and son.
