Justin Timberlake opens up about the messy side of parenthood

While most celebrities only talk about how much of a gift their children are, Justin Timberlake has opened up about the downsides of parenting. The singer and wife Jessica Biel welcomed son Silas last year – and it's been a messy journey.Justin, 35, confessed that, while he can't remember life before his one-year-old boy came along, he has picked up certain invaluable life skills.

Justin Timberlake revealed the messy side of parenthood

During a radio interview with Carson Daly, the Cry Me a River hit maker explained: "Here's what I'll say, all I know is I don't know what the hell I did before. Every day is just watching them grasp onto something and learn something new. It blows your mind. It's been an extremely humbling experience, and I've never had more poop on my person. "And dealing with all of that has caused Justin to poke fun at people who aren't so willing to get their hands dirty – and insisted it's not something dog owners can relate to.

He continued: "It's just not the same. When you clean up your dog's poop, you roll in there with the heavy duty Bounty paper towel, you stand like you've got a 10-foot pole… when you have a kid, you just get in there. "Justin's new single Can't Stop the Feeling is taken from the upcoming animated movie Trolls, which he is also executive producer of, and he's hoping his job will win him some cool points with Silas.

"The movie comes out in November," he said. "So hopefully by that time he'll be kind of into the toys and things like that. But who knows? Maybe by the time he watches the movie he'll be like, 'Dad, that's not cool!'"Something tells having Justin Timberlake as your dad will always be cool…
