Sir Roger Moore's daughter Christina Knudsen has sadly passed away at the age of 47. The grieving actor, 88, announced the news on Twitter on Tuesday morning, sharing a photograph of Christina with the message: "Our beautiful daughter Christina (aka Flossie) lost her battle with cancer 25 July at 10am. We are heartbroken." Alongside a second photograph, he poignantly added: "We were all with her, surrounding her with love, at the end."

Christina - half Swedish and half Danish - is the daughter of Roger's fourth wife Kristina 'Kiki' Tholstrup, to whom he has been married since 2002.
Christina was previously married to investment banker Nikolaj Albinus, but they split after just 13 months. She also had a four year relationship with billionaire Skype co-founder Janis Friis.

Christina suffered two major tragedies in her life. She was just six-years-old when her father, businessman Hans Christian Knudsen, committed suicide, and then, almost 20 years later, she lost her step-father, millionaire industrialist Ole Tholstrup to alcoholism.
She described her close relationship with Sir Roger in an interview with the Evening Standard in 2014, crediting the actor with helping her develop a positive outlook on life. "I think I didn't know myself that well when I got married and felt pressurised by society," she said. "I wasn't yet able to listen to who I was and what I really wanted.
"I was in difficult relationships, but all that changed when my mother met Roger."
