Blake Lively has made the sweetest gesture to her husband Ryan Reynolds for his 40th birthday.
The actress, who has just welcomed her second baby with Ryan, organised a surprise dinner with friends and family at the couple's favourite restaurant in New York, O Ya.
Blake explained that she and Ryan first fell in love in the Boston branch of the restaurant.

Sharing a photo of the lovebirds cuddling up to each other on Instagram, she wrote: "We fell in love at your restaurant in Boston. We stay in love at your restaurant in NY. Thank you for the BEST food and memories! You are our FAVOURITE!! Another happy birthday with @vancityreynolds. Hey, Reynolds, I like you a whole lot. Just sayin'..."
Ryan, likewise, posted a photo of the colourful celebrations that was filled with balloons, party hats and streamers. He gave a sweet shout out to the couple's two children.
"Best. Birthday. Everrrrr. Courtesy of my wife, buddy, and international spy, @blakelively," he wrote. "With huge thanks to my favourite restaurant in NYC,@_o_ya_ -- and a special shout out to our children for not ruining everything like they planned."

Chefs Tim and Nancy also posed for a photo with the couple. The restaurant uploaded the snap that read: "Happy Birthday to@vancityreynolds !! Lots of love and sushi."
Blake and Ryan's night out comes just a couple of weeks after Blake, 29, gave birth to the couple's second baby at the end of September.
The former Gossip Girl star and the Deadpool actor have been keeping mum about their newborn and haven't revealed the baby's gender or name.

Blake seems to have taken it all in her stride, becoming a mum-of-two. Just days after giving birth, she stepped out to attend her best friend's wedding.
"Most beautiful bride on the planet. And the best friend I could ask for. @jessicarose617 thank you for being EVERYTHING. I love you," she wrote.
