Holly Willoughby took to Instagram on Thursday night to share a sweet selfie with her mum Lynne. And it didn't take long for fans to comment on the resemblance between the pair – from their big beaming smiles to their bright blue eyes. "What a stunning photo, you are so like your mum," one fan wrote alongside the snapshot, which was taken as mother and daughter prepared to film new entertainment show All Round To Mrs Brown's. "Lovely picture. You're definitely your mum's double," a second wrote, with a third adding: "The apple hasn't fallen far from the tree!"

Holly and Lynne have a very close relationship, and the This Morning star has previously revealed she still likes to talk to her mum "a few times a day". Speaking to the Mirror last year, Holly said: "I still run everything past her. If I'm about to buy a pair of shoes, I'll go, 'Mum, do you think I should be doing this?' It's silly. I'm a fully grown woman, of course I can buy shoes. But I still like to talk to her about everything."

The mum-of-three also opened about her parents' marriage. "My mum and dad have been together for years and years, and they are a real team," she said. "My mum instilled in me that importance of family life and being married to somebody who is a real partner. From watching her with my dad over the years, I knew that was something I really wanted for myself."

Earlier this month, Holly shared a rare photo of her mum, her daughter Belle and her niece in celebration of International Women's Day. The picture shows the trio holding hands with their faces turned away from the camera. "My daughter, my niece and my mother… follow her lead! My ultimate woman on #InternationalWomensDay," the 36-year-old captioned the sweet snapshot.
