Alex Jones and Charlie Thomson are rarely spotted together, but the married couple were spotted sweetly holding hands with one another while leaving the One Show studios on Thursday. Charlie, who works as an insurance broker, usually stays out of the limelight, but visited his wife at work. The pair looked to be in good spirits, with Charlie dressed smartly in a suit and shirt, while Alex dressed casually in cropped denim jeans and a floral blouse with a white coat draped over her shoulders. She accessorised the effortlessly stylish look with a pair of statement red boots.

Alex and Charlie were spotted leaving the One Show

Alex and Charlie share a son, Teddy, and the One Show presenter recently revealed that she felt that she went back to work too soon following his birth in January 2017. She explained: "I went back too soon. I was still trying to feed going back to work. After the meeting I'd try and express, then go into the rehearsal, and go back and try and express a little bit more, and my milk was in the fridge with all the food being given to the guests! I was like, this is not working, this is a nightmare."

She added: "I'd sit on the sofa and the titles would start playing and I'd feel this stain start coming through the dress and I'd think, 'Oh no, this is awful'. I thought, 'I really hope people out there will understand what's happened here.' Of course, you can imagine, there were some comments that were really upsetting to read but there's nothing I could do about it." The 41-year-old admitted that she felt close to depression after struggling to breastfeed. "I'd be in tears, and nobody tells you that beforehand," she explained. "In the end Charlie went out and got a bottle of formula, and said, 'You're trying your best but we need to feed Ted'. And in the end it did get better."
