Compared to last year, this birthday will be a very different celebration for John Cena and Gigi Hadid, who have both recently separated from their partners. John announced his split from Nikki Bella last week, just 18 days before tying the knot. Model Gigi and singer Zayn Malik announced their break up earlier this month but revealed it was a mutual decision.

A source told People last week that John, who was previously married to Elizabeth Huberdeau from 2009-2012, "started getting cold feet as the wedding date drew near".

Jaime King turns 39

The American actress and model will be surrounded by three very special men on her big day, her husband Kyle and their two boys Leo and James, and will no doubt forget about the horrifying incident she experienced earlier this month. Jaime was left shaking after a homeless man attacked her car as she drove her four-year-old son. The Sin City actress was driving through Los Angeles when a man on skateboard pounced as she sat in traffic. Thankfully no one was hurt.
