Tragic last messages sent by Hollywood stars before they died

The Full House star passed away suddenly on January 9, 2022, after accidentally hitting his head, causing a brain bleed. He was on a comedy tour at the time, and authorities found him dead inside his hotel room in Florida.

One of the last messages he sent was to his daughter, Aubrey Saget, just before going onstage for a show. "Thank u. Love u. Showtime!" read the text, which she posted on social media mere hours after his death.

Bob's Full House co-star, Candace Cameron Bure, who played his character's eldest daughter on the show, also revealed the text that he sent her just weeks before his death. 

She explained on Today that they had previously argued, and he sent a message apologising for their spat. "In Bob fashion, the next day he wrote me what would be pages long of a text. And he was apologising, saying he was cranky and he was just so sorry," she recalled. 

Bob ended his text to Candace with the words, "I love you more for the trouble you're giving me, if that's even possible."

The beloved chef died by suicide on June 8, 2018, with the final messages he sent to loved ones reflecting his inner turmoil at the time. 

According to the unauthorised biography by Charles Leerhsen, Down and Out in Paradise: The Life of Anthony Bourdain, he sent a heartbreaking text to his ex-wife, Ottavia Busia, just days before his death.

"I hate my fans, too. I hate being famous. I hate my job. I am lonely and living in constant uncertainty," the text reportedly read.

Anthony also texted his girlfriend, Asia Argento, and spoke about issues in their relationship. "I am okay, I am not spiteful. I am not jealous that you have been with another man," he wrote. 

"I do not own you. You are free. As I said. As I promised. As I truly meant. But you were careless. You were reckless with my heart. My life."

The Foo Fighters drummer was found dead just hours before the band's show in Colombia on March 25, 2022. 

Although his official cause of death was never made public, he had reportedly complained of chest pains on the day of his death, and the toxicology report revealed that 10 substances were in his system at the time.

After his untimely death, his close friend, actor John Stamos, revealed on social media that the last text he had received from the musician was incredibly bittersweet. "We've yet to fully have a hang – gotta put that s*** together before we die," Taylor wrote.

"Another one gone too soon," John added.

The up-and-coming rapper had the whole industry buzzing with his fresh new sound, but Nipsey's budding career came to a screaming halt on March 31, 2019, when he was fatally shot by Eric Holder Jr due to a personal dispute.

At his funeral, Nipsey's mother revealed that the final text he sent her before his death read: "I'm A-1. I'm grateful I have a studio again. I'm just happy and ready to work."

The legendary musician stunned the world in 2016 when he passed away on January 10 after a private battle with liver cancer, so much so that he even shocked his longtime friend and collaborator, Brian Eno, who had no idea about his health issues.

"David's death came as a complete surprise, as did nearly everything else about him," he shared in a statement at the time. "We knew each other for over 40 years."

"Over the last few years, with him living in New York and me in London, our connection was by email. We signed off with invented names: some of his were Mr Showbiz, Milton Keynes, Rhoda Borrocks and The Duke Of Ear," he continued.

Brian then shared what David wrote to him a week before he died. "It was funny as always, and as surreal, looping through word games and allusions and all the usual stuff we did. It ended with this sentence: 'Thank you for the good times, Brian; they will never rot.' And it was signed 'Dawn.'"

"I realise now he was saying goodbye," Brian concluded.

The 20-year-old had been texting with his father about basketball just hours before his death on July 6, 2019. Cameron, who was known for his starring roles in Grown Ups, Jessie and Descendants, passed away in his sleep after suffering a seizure caused by his epilepsy.

The actor was messaging his dad, Victor Boyce, on the night of July 5, with the pair discussing the Lakers – the NBA team of which Cameron was a huge fan.

"We were texting that night. We were texting about the Lakers. We were texting back and forth up until 12:30," his father shared on Good Morning America. Cameron was found dead the next morning inside his home in North Hollywood.

The comedian and social media star unexpectedly passed away on October 24, 2022, after he suffered a sudden cardiac dysfunction and crashed his car in Los Angeles. His former Will & Grace co-star, Max Greenfield, shared the final text that he received from Leslie just two days before his death.

Leslie had tried to get into one of Max's signing events for his book This Book Is Not a Present, yet he had been turned away as the venue was at full capacity.

"I tried to get in. I saw that you was so famous they wouldn't let me in. And they turned my little a** away," the text read, as Max told E! News. "But congratulations. I couldn't stay, I had to go anyway because I have important things to do."

"They won't let me near you, superstar. That's what you are. Congratulations. I got to run or I would stalk you," Leslie finished.
