Halloween in particular is said to have sparked many fond memories for the Duchess of Cambridge' younger sister who has declared that during this time "your home should look the part on the outside to greet your guests and any passing spooks and spirits".Here are just a few of Pippa's tips for tricks and treats this Halloween:• Decorate your windows with stained glass bats.• String outdoor fairy lights around trees and shrubs, and light the pathway with a few paper lanterns• Create a few mournful ghosts to float around for a spooky atmosphere: simply blow up white balloons, tie each one to a bamboo cane and drape a white sheet over it. Fix the neck with string and use a clack marker to draw a ghoulsome faceThe young author admits with modesty that she simply hopes her new book will offer "inspiration and ideas" for its readers and provide "threads of lasting, happy memories, be it around a table lit with candles in winter, outside on a rug in summer or in the autumn, perched on a leaf-covered bench, hot drink in hand".
