With their second child due next month, a glowing Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber enjoyed a quiet family day out in the Los Angeles sunshine, taking their two-year-old son Presley for a play in the park.
“I want a big family,” supermodel Cindy said after the birth of Presley in 1999 and it seems that motherhood agrees with the onetime engineering student turned model. “I had twelve years of my career where I could jump on a plane at short notice and take on just about anything – so I don’t begrudge not being able to do that now…I’m happier than I’ve ever been.”
Rande and Cindy got hitched in a beautiful beach ceremony in 1998. Before that the supermum was married to actor Richard Gere, but they divorced in 1995. “The fact was that Richard was 40 and wanted to live in a tent in India,” the former face of Revlon said afterwards adding, “I was 22 and wanted a family and white fence.”
Although 35 year-old Cindy was recently dropped from her $3-million dollar Revlon contract for, in her words, being “too old,” she is still wildly popular on the fashion scene.
