Closest friends and family turned out in force this week to help punk icon Vivienne Westwood celebrate her new fragrance, Sin Garden. Joining the flame-haired designer at her first ever boutique, Let it Rock - which took London's King's Road by storm when she opened it in 1971 - was milliner to the stars Philip Treacy, as well as her husband Andreas Kronthaler and her elderly mum.

And making the bash a truly family occasion were her two children, Ben Westwood, her photographer son from her first marriage, and Joe Corre, whom she had with former Sex Pistol's manager Malcom McLaren and is founder of lingerie label Agent Provocateur.

Their fashion designer mum, as ever, cut a striking figure in a knee length version of the gown she wore to last month's Vienna Life ball. It's clearly a favourite number from her spring/summer Gold label couture collection and there's no one better to model it with the appropriate panache than the flamboyant creator herself.
