While most girls her age are worrying about boys and homework, Russian fashion sensation Kira Plastinina is busy running her own clothing label. And now the 15-year-old designer, who's already a familiar contributor to catwalks of her Russian homeland, has spread her wings, showing her spring/summer 08 offerings in Rome.

The latest collection from Kira's eponymous teen label features an eclectic mix of styles, from pretty, flirty dresses for girly girls to funky street designs. It's a combination the creative schoolgirl describes with the catch-all phrase "art-glamour-sportive-casual".

Having long dreamed of setting up her own fashion label, Kira found her wish coming true when dad Sergei, co-founder of a leading Russian dairy and one of the country's wealthiest men, presented her with a stunning £50 million to help her set up her own chain of shops last year.

Now the inspired youngster, who's the official costumier for the Russian version of Fame Academy, is creating a buzz in the fashion world. "She goes to school every day and comes to the office in the evening," says a spokesman for her company. And Europe is only the first step in the hard-working youngster's plans it seems as she also has her sights set on the US. Her first store is scheduled to open in New York this March, and there are a handful of other branches planned for LA and Manhattan.

When she launches Stateside Kira will already be able to count on the custom of one high-profile client. Paris Hilton is a fan. "I love her clothes," revealed the socialite after visiting the label's flagship store in Moscow last year. "I want to wear these clothes in LA and I'm going to give some to my sister."
