Former The Voice contestant Bo Bruce was red hot as she stepped out at the London premiere of Star Trek on Thursday night. The singer, 28, wore a floor-sweeping scarlet gown by new fashion house La Mania, accessorised with a four-strand pearl headpiece anchored by small gold plates. Thick black eyeliner and a spiked-up hair style that included two tiny plaited pigtails topped off the look.
Bo was attending the premiere as part of the crew. She collaborated with Snow Patrol singer Gary Lightbody on a song for the film which will feature on the official motion picture soundtrack. She walked the white carpet with leading ladies from the sci-fi sequel Zoe Saldana and Alice Eve. Zoe, 34, was sporting an edgy monochrome number that boasted layers of material around the hemline. She hadn't accounted for London's windy conditions, however, and struggled to keep her dress under control. Her co-stars were regularly spotted stepping in to give her a helping hand.
Alice, who plays on-board Dr. Carol Marcus, wore a strapless grey suede dress that showed off her curves to perfection. She kept the focus on her dress with a swept-back bun. The actress made headlines earlier this year when she was spotted dancing with Zoe's ex Bradley Cooper at the BAFTAs afterparty.
Sherlock Holmes actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays villain John Harrison, also turned up to the premiere. Speaking to reporters, he revealed that getting into shape for the role proved difficult. "Preparing for the role was the hardest thing in all honesty because it meant an awful lot of eating and a lot of working out in a very short space of time," he said.
