Famous faces weren't just watching from the front row at the DKNY show at New York Fashion Week – Rita Ora made a surprise appearance on the catwalk, strutting her stuff to the delight of the crowd.
Just when it seemed like model Karlie Kloss had closed the show, the music suddenly changed to the Beastie Boys track Fight For Your Right, and out walked Rita in a logo-covered t-shirt and black neoprene skater skirt.
She looked confident and perfectly at home as she walked down the runway in lace-up heels, looking edgy with her trademark bleach blonde hair and red lipstick.
She had no doubt been given some advice by her best friend, model of the moment Cara Delevingne, ahead of her big moment. Rita, 22, recently took over from her "wifey" as the new face of the brand and her closing appearance at Fashion Week marked her first foray into the fashion world.
Among those in the crowd as Rita stepped out under the spotlights were Kelly Osbourne, actress Bella Thorne and Red Hot Chilli Peppers' frontman Anthony Kiedis.
Rita clearly enjoyed her glamorous first catwalk experience. She took to Twitter after her star turn, thanking her friend Karlie for her help.
"Yipeeeee thanks @karliekloss on the tips it all went out the window," she wrote. "Donna Karan you're amazing. Closing the show for you was an honour. THANK YOU!"
