It seems that Caitlyn Jenner had one of the world's biggest style icons in mind when she chose the dazzling Atelier Versace gown she wore to the ESPY awards on Sunday night. The 65-year-old chose a look similar to a dress that Angelina Jolie wore back in 2010, looking the epitome of elegance as she picked up the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

Caitlyn Jenner wore a dress similar to one Angelina Jolie wore in 2010
While Caitlyn's silk floor-length gown was custom-made for the former Olympic athlete, there are striking similarities to the gown which Angelina wore during the promotional tour for The Tourist, in which she starred opposite Johnny Depp.
Not only were both gowns created by Versace, but they each feature a wrap-around bodice and ruched waist detailing.
Fashion insiders have not been completely surprised that Caitlyn's striking ensemble channelled Angelina. The Keeping up with the Kardashians star has hired stylist Jen Rade, who has worked with the Maleficent actress, to help dress her for events.
Caitlyn gave an emotional and inspiring speech as she accepted her ESPY award
"I have to say my heart is POUNDING WITH EXCITEMENT for the world to see what I have seen!!!" Jen wrote on Twitter just a few hours before Caitlyn took to the stage to give her emotional and inspiring speech. "Only a few more hours! #ESPYS #CaitlynJenner."
As she accepted the Courage award for her brave transition in the public eye, Caitlyn quipped that she was still getting used to the routine of getting ready, particularly for such a momentous occasion.
"It seems every time I turn around in life I’m putting myself in these high pressure situations: competing in the [Olympic] games, raising a family," she quipped. "But I’ve never felt more pressure than I have ever felt in my life than in the last couple of months…picking out this outfit! Okay girls! I get it! You've got to get the shoes, the hair, the make-up, the whole process is exhausting!"
