Katherine Jenkins sang at an extra-special ceremony on Thursday as she performed in front of the Queen at a Royal Navy event in Portsmouth. The 37-year-old - who is pregnant with her second child - was wrapped up for occasion, stunning onlookers in a bold military coat by British brand Karen Millen, which is still available online, and priced at £250. The doubled-breasted navy jacket has a long-line cut, complete with statement gold-rimmed buttons. It's a classic wardrobe staple that can been teamed with a variety of items, be it jeans, dresses or a skirt. The coat is also ideal for all body types, cinching in at the waist, and flaring out over the hips, and comes in an extra-soft medium wool blend.

In honour of the royal engagement, Katherine wore her trademark golden blonde locks styled in a curled, wavy finish, and she sported a healthy pregnancy glow. Her flawless base was enhanced with natural foundation, and she wore brown eyeshadow, a statement red lip and matching nail polish, in keeping with the festive season.

The Welsh opera singer has had a busy week of appointments. On Wednesday she attended the Scripture Union's 150th anniversary service in London, wearing a velvet midi dress by luxury mid-range store L.K. Bennett. It marked Katherine's very first public appearance since she announced her second pregnancy with husband of three years, Andrew Levitas.
