The Princess Royal honoured the beautiful azure blue and white colours synonymous with the Greek flag as she stepped out for a three-day visit to Crete and Athens.

Anne, 74, was a royal vision, wearing an elegant A-line dress, complete with a smart cropped jacket and white gloves, as she met with Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas at the Presidential Mansion in the country's capital.

Never one to shy away from a bold lip, the British royal, who is in Greece to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Crete during World War II, chose a summer shade of coral red lipstick for the outing, perfectly offset by the rest of her natural glam.

Anne chose to style her hair in her usual sophisticated updo, an immaculate way to frame her dainty gold drop earrings.

As Anne made her way through the Presidential Mansion, which previously served as the royal palace, she carried her stylish white clutch bag, a perfect match for her white and gold loafers.

On her jacket was her beloved gold ribbon brooch we have seen her wear many times in recent months.

According to The Crown Chronicles, Anne was first seen wearing it in February 1969 during a meeting with Apollo 8 commander and NASA astronaut Colonel Frank Borman at Buckingham Palace.

Anne is joined on her royal overseas visit by her husband, Sir Tim Laurence, whom she married in December 1992.

Stepping out with Sir Tim

Despite being married for over two decades, Princess Anne never fails to support her husband when they are out and about on royal duties together.

In March, as the royal pair arrived for Monday's Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, they were met with plenty of anti-monarchy protesters who waved banners saying, 'Not My King' and 'What Did You Know?'.

During their entrance, Timothy gestured to the protesters, but Anne was seemingly seen to advise her husband: "Don't listen to them."

Anne has been heckled on numerous occasions in her role as a working royal, and these have only intensified after her younger brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was stripped of his royal titles over his close friendship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
