Princess Charlene of Monaco showed off her statuesque figure at the closing ceremony of the 65th Monte-Carlo Television Festival on Tuesday.
Amping up the glamour, the former Olympic swimmer slipped into a neutral gown embellished head-to-toe with crystals from Jenny Packham. Known as the 'Rory' dress, the £3.6k maxi features long sleeves and a figure-skimming silhouette, reminiscent of the one the Princess of Wales wore by the same designer.
Synonymous with glittering evening gowns, Jenny Packham has long been a favourite of Kate's, with the royal wearing the designs for major moments such as after the birth of Princess Charlotte at St. Mary’s Hospital in 2015, and her Bond girl moment at the No Time To Die premiere in 2021.
While Kate has experimented with all shapes and colours, her metallic sequin gown for the Tusk Trust Conservation Awards back in 2013 and blush-encrusted dress at a Diplomatic Corps reception in 2023 were remarkably like Charlene's latest look.
The Monegasque royal kept all eyes on her cascading sequins, styling her blonde hair away from her face and keeping her jewellery minimal.
This was not the first time that Charlene had stepped out in the royally loved brand. Princess Catharina-Amalia, Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Queen Mary of Denmark had also championed the British designer before Charlene stepped out in a Grecian-style gown from the Spring 2026 collection at the Principality’s Bal de Noël in December 2025.
Featuring a pleated cape and sparkling belt, the dress fit in with Charlene's elegant style, which she spent years perfecting. Oscar de la Renta and Prada are among her favourite designers, but she admitted she wasn't initially confident in her style choices.
"Finding my fashion feet has certainly been the biggest challenge," she confessed to Vogue.
"In the early days, I listened to other people about how I should dress. I was insecure. I felt pressure to err on the side of caution – I was terrified of meeting a head of state in an over-the-top outfit," she added.
Now, she has developed a wardrobe that flatters her athletic frame. "I’ve reached the point where I know what I like and what works. I’m starting to play with fresher, bolder, and more daring looks," Charlene explained.
While she seems just as confident in a smart suit as she does in a ball gown, her husband, Prince Albert, added that he loves her more natural, dressed-down appearance away from the spotlight.
"To me, Charlene never looks more beautiful than when she is natural – without makeup and her hair pulled back," he gushed.
