Newly-single star Nicolas Cage has been keeping busy, with three films – Matchstick Men, Land Of Destiny and Ghost Rider – in the works.

In the latter film, a comic-book adventure, he co-stars with Oscar winner Jon Voight. And it seems that he's also been spending time with the actor's famous daughter, Angelina Jolie.

Three years after they co-starred in Gone In Sixty Seconds, Nic and Angelina renewed their friendship at the BAFTAs in London, sitting close together over an intimate meal at the Savoy Grill. Coincidentally, the two ended up at the same dinner party later that night, leading to a rekindling of their friendship.

However, according to reports, the recently-divorced stars may have found more than a pal in one another. "In the beginning, it was supposed to be just friends… They talked about how they were both looking for love, but it didn't dawn on them until later that they'd make a perfect pair," a friend is quoted as saying.

It's clear that the would-be pair have a lot in common: they both come from Hollywood families, once attended Beverly Hills High, have recently ended high-profile marriages – his with Lisa Marie Presley, hers with Billy Bob Thornton – and are considered to be two of the most off-beat stars in film.

Whether or not love is on the cards, it seems that the two are destined to be together – on screen that is. The Gone In Sixty Seconds stars are said to be reuniting for a remake of the 1973 movie The Wicker Man for release next year.
