Sunday night's Oscar ceremony provided Tinseltown snappers with a unique opportunity to catch a roll call of the film industry's top names looking their best. But it wasn't just glamorous gowns and carefully-coiffed hairdos that were keeping the press pack happy, as there was also a great deal of interest in who might be accompanying the famous faces on the biggest night of the year.

Crowds gathered outside the Kodak Theatre would have been forgiven for feeling a little disappointed when Jennifer Aniston made her entrance without new boyfriend Vince Vaughan, but the A-list couple were very much together when they arrived for a glitzy post-awards party later in the evening.

The former Friends star, who looked stunning a a Rochas gown, was snapped hand-in-hand with her leading man as they rubbed shoulders with other celebs at the Vanity Fair bash. The two are rarely photographed together, but they obviously wanted to be at each other's side as the celebrations got into full swing.

And they can now look forward to some romantic getaways, as the goody bag received by Jennifer and many of the other presenters included some extravagant travel certificates. One of the coupons entitles its holder to a four-night stay in the Vera Wang Suite of Hawaii's famed Halekulani Hotel. The loved-up twosome can also take advantage of a two-night stay at New York's plush Carlyle Hotel, valued at £1,500, or an equally luxurious sojourn in the upmarket Opus Hotel in Vancouver.
