The demands of her Tinseltown career seemed a million miles away as Charlize Theron snuggled up to her hunky beau Stuart Townsend on Sunday. South Africa's favourite actress was snapped on the beach in front of her Malibu home as she and her Irish fiancé enjoyed the warm Californian evening with a group of friends.
Casually dressed in blue jeans, Ugg boots and a light cotton top, the North Country star was clearly delighted to be spending some quality time with her leading man. The loved-up pair walked arm-in-arm, chatting warmly and laughing together as they strolled along the waterfront.
Having recently wrapped up a series of promotional appearances for her high-kicking sci-fi flick Aeon Flux, Charlize is relishing the chance to take time off with her nearest and dearest. And Stuart wasn't the only fellow to be enjoying her company over the weekend, as her beloved pet dog Tucker was also in tow.
It won't be long before the Dior model returns to cinema screens around the world, however, as she is due to start work soon on The Brazilian Job, the hotly anticipated follow up to The Italian Job. Dublin-born Stuart is meanwhile working hard on his hit series Night Stalker, which screens on American network ABC.
